Viewing Statistics
Every time a document is viewed by a user, Touchsafe records this information, along with when it was viewed (time and date) and for how long. This allows management to identify what documents are actually used within the organisation.
Emergency Information
The Touchsafe application allows users to have instant access to site TARPS and a list of mine site emergency contact details. Emergency contact details may include contact numbers and site locations for the following; First Aid, Emergency Control Officers, Fire, Police or Site Managers.
Login capabilities
Touchsafe has multiple options to allow users to login - PIN, Password, RFID Card or Fingerprint. This ensures that the system is secure.
Text-to-speech
How literate are your employees? Touchsafe Systems provides a clear, accurate TEXT TO SPEECH feature. Employees with poor or limited reading skills, simply highlight the text which is read immediately to them. The feature has multilingual capacity and is already available in English and Hindi. Touchsafe Systems ‘Text to Speech’ can be provided in most major languages.
Scanning
Touchsafe scans up to A3 size documents, stores them in its database and makes them available for anyone on site to view. This allows employees to view what has taken place on any shift on any day by a touch of the screen. Once scanned, all reports are ‘locked down’ not allowing users to tamper with them. All scans are recorded by the time and date and can be enlarged for better viewing.
Printing and E-mailing
The Touchsafe application doesn't just display important documents to your workforce in one fixed place; it allows you to take them with you when required. Touchsafe allows users to print documents to a local networked printer or e-mail them to their workstation.
Viewing Websites
Touchsafe users are able to view a restricted range of websites easily. Touchsafe website viewing pages are locked down and only sites entered by the administration can be viewed. Bureau of Meteorology and ChemAlert are two examples that allow live information to be displayed to your workforce anywhere, anytime.
Bookmarks
Touchsafe allows users to 'bookmark' any document for easy access for future viewing.
